The aims and objectives of PIWDO. Each one guides the programmes, training, advocacy and partnerships we develop.

  1. Women Empowerment To promote the social, economic, educational, professional and political empowerment of women across Pakistan.
  2. Education & Skills Development To provide women and girls with access to education, vocational training, professional development and market-oriented skills.
  3. Women Entrepreneurship To encourage and support women entrepreneurs, startups, home-based businesses, SMEs and women-led enterprises through training, mentorship, networking and market linkages.
  4. Leadership Development To develop women leaders and increase women’s participation in decision-making positions in government, business, academia, civil society and other sectors.
  5. Digital & AI Empowerment To promote digital literacy, artificial intelligence, e-commerce, freelancing, technology and digital entrepreneurship among women.
  6. Economic & Financial Inclusion To facilitate women’s access to financial literacy, banking, investment, business opportunities, markets and appropriate financial resources.
  7. Policy Advocacy & Research To conduct research, policy dialogues, seminars and consultations and advocate for policies that improve opportunities, rights and participation of women.
  8. Women’s Rights & Legal Awareness To create awareness about women’s constitutional, legal, workplace and social rights and facilitate access to appropriate support and referral services.
  9. Employment & Career Development To create linkages between women professionals, employers, educational institutions and industry for employment, internships, mentorship and career advancement.
  10. Rural & Underserved Women To extend education, skills, entrepreneurship and livelihood opportunities to women in rural, remote and economically disadvantaged communities.
  11. Health & Wellbeing Awareness To promote awareness regarding women’s health, family wellbeing, workplace wellbeing and access to relevant services.
  12. Networking & Mentorship To establish national networks connecting women entrepreneurs, professionals, policymakers, academics, diplomats, civil society leaders and young women.
  13. International Cooperation To develop partnerships with international organizations, diplomatic missions, NGOs, development agencies, universities and women’s networks for knowledge exchange and joint initiatives.
  14. Conferences & Capacity-Building Programs To organize national and international conferences, summits, workshops, training programs, leadership forums and policy dialogues focused on women’s development.
  15. Women, Peace & Social Cohesion To promote women’s participation in peacebuilding, community development, social harmony, conflict prevention and national cohesion.
  16. Recognition of Women Leaders To recognize and celebrate outstanding women through awards, fellowships, leadership programs and public platforms.
  17. Research & Knowledge Platform To establish a knowledge and resource platform for sharing research, best practices, opportunities, success stories and policy recommendations relating to women’s development.
  18. Public–Private Partnerships To collaborate with government institutions, chambers of commerce, corporations, universities, NGOs and development organizations for women-focused projects.
  19. Sustainable Development To contribute to national development and relevant Sustainable Development Goals, particularly gender equality, quality education, decent work and economic growth.
  20. Global Representation of Pakistani Women To provide platforms for Pakistani women to participate in international forums, exhibitions, business delegations, leadership programs and global networking opportunities.
